We perused the internet and our own ever expanding dream dictionary, to find some common dreams. Here below are 10 of the most common dreams we have while deep asleep. How many have you had?
1. Nudity – Being naked is an obvious symbol of being exposed or being vulnerable in public. If you see someone else naked in your dream, it means that you’ve discovered the “naked truth” about someone or something.
2. Falling – Falling, or flying, has to do with freedom and weightlessness. If you are falling in your dreams and you are unafraid, then it means you’re going to overcome the troubles in your life with ease. If you are afraid, then it means you are feeling overwhelmed.
3. Dying – Death, like in the Tarot, does not mean the end of all things. Instead, it means rebirth, the end of one thing and the beginning of another. The death of a loved one in your dreams is symbolic of remembrance and guilt; the death of yourself lends the idea that you’re trying to become a new person.
4. Accident – If you dream you’re in an accident, chances are good that you’re feeling pent-up guilt over something that you’re unconsciously punishing yourself for. Did you cause the accident? Did someone hit you? It might mean that you’re “driving yourself” too hard, or that you’re afraid someone is trying to sabotage you.
5. Chase – Being chased is mostly an indication of worry. You may be trying to get away from something you feel is insurmountable. Being chased is also sign of some kind of insecurity or fear. It’s a signal from your subconscious to live up to your responsibilities.
6. Running – Running denotes avoidance. If you’re running in your dreams, you might be trying to flee an issue that you are having trouble with confronting.
7. Sex – Sex usually symbolizes completion on both a physical and spiritual level. It’s a feeling of wholeness. If it’s sex in public, it might mean that you’re not afraid to show who you are, all of you, and all that you can be.
Snow – Snow is symbolic of innocence and emotions as well. Seeing snow falling represents a new start and a clean slate. Seeing snow melting means that you’re letting go of your emotions and fears.
8. Test – For anyone, tests are nightmares. If you find yourself taking a test in your dream, you’re probably feeling pressured or scrutinized. Failing or passing the test is also symbolic to how you feel you’re measuring up to those around you.
9. Trips – Dreaming that you’re going on a trip or vacation is symbolic of your need to get away and have some fun. You probably feel stressed and know that you need to let go of your worries.
10. Losing Someone – These dreams generally denote that you’ve lost an opportunity or a relationship. If you lose someone in a crowd of people, then you might not be understanding them.

Though the symbol is of the water bearer, Aquarius is an air sign. Always on the cutting edge of what is new and now, the Aquarius woman has a look that’s up to date and on trend at all times. Aquarius women can be serious, but they also can joy themselves with something fun.
Aquarians love a natural look but also love shimmer, and like to indulge in glittery or pearlescent shades. Aquarius women will often have mysterious eyes, and wide set, oval faces. Their handsome features include clear, bright complexion. Color wise, purple resonates with Aquarius women due to their noble features, so I’m going to build a look around that.
Applying make up to your face is like an artist applying a medium to a canvas, make sure your skin is clean, and moisturized. You may wish to use a primer, and then whatever liquid or mineral foundation you use regularly, make sure to set everything with powder once applied, this will keep your make up in place longer.
Apply an eye shadow primer to the lids all the way up to the brow bone and underneath the eye (I used urban decay’s “Primer Potion”). This will keep your colors on longer, make them show up better and brighten the eye area.
Take your lightest shade, (“Digit” from MAC) this will be your highlighter, and apply it from lash line to brow bone, and on the inner corners of your eyes.
Take the medium shade, (“Diva Down” from L’Oreal) and sweep on the inner ½ of your crease. If your eyes do not have a crease, just place this where you’d like the illusion of one. Now take the purple, (“No. 92” from Make up Forever) and add it to the outer half of your eye lid, and blend inward.
Don’t forget to blend your colors together so they appear to be a seamless gradient or wash of color as opposed to blocks or stripes. Once your eye shadow is blended to your liking, apply a black liquid liner eyeliner close to the top lash line.
Take a purple liner pencil (“Amethyst” automatic eyeliner from Mary Kay) and line the lower lash line on the water line. Then, apply a coat or two of curling mascara. I’ve used Supercurl Curling Mascara from urban Decay.
Using Cover Girls blush trio #240 in “Sophisticated Sable” apply the medium shade to the apples of your cheeks (the fullest, roundest part in the middle of your cheek). To the tops of your cheeks apply the shimmery highlighter and to the hollows (where you see shadows when you suck in your cheeks) very lightly apply the darkest blush to define the shape of your cheekbones.
Using a lip brush, for accuracy fill in your lips (“Hera #722” NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil) top with (“Like Venus” from MAC) lip gloss and this look is complete.

What is a lucid dream? Any dream where one becomes aware that they are dreaming is a lucid dream. Once the dreamer has realized they are in fact dreaming they may be able to control or manipulate their surroundings, rather than waking up from the dream.
Lucid dreams can be fantastical or reality based, they are usually quite vivid. A lucid dream can come on gradually as one realizes they are in a dream as it takes place, or when a dreamer lapses instantly from waking to dream state while conscious.
This is something that may happen to most people on occasion, or something one may seek out to participate in on purpose. There are many techniques in order to learn to purposely lucid dream. Working on the ability to recall one’s dreams is usually a step in the right directions.
One may want to start a dream journal, immediately after waking up one should document everything they can remember. This helps because recognizing the patterns of one’s dreams can help in recognizing them as such, and in turn being able to control the dream and surroundings.
Another way to figure out if one is dreaming while still within their dream is to do a “reality test.” Text can be very telling, look at some text from a book or website, and look away, when you look at it again, see if it has changed or moved, the same can be done with the time on a digital clock or watch.
Lucid dreaming is perfectly natural, and does not involve any spells, or “dark arts.”
There is nothing “occult” about lucid dreams; they are simply a part of the sleep cycle and dreams. The next time you think you might be in a dream, really take a look around and see if you are!

This time of year everyone starts making promises and resolutions, that try their best, they may never keep or live up to. This disappointment follows them throughout the year and causes resolutions that are even more grandiose and promises to the next year.
Stop it! Stop driving yourself crazy. First of all, resolutions aren’t set in stone, you don’t have to do whatever you said you were going to do, sometimes life, work or family can get in the way of you keeping your resolutions.
Secondly, when you think about it, you’re setting yourself up to fail by imposing added stress on yourself throughout the year. Here’s what you can do to set and accomplish goals this year.
Start small! Make small, gradual changes towards your end goal, if you try doing everything all at once, you’re going to become overwhelmed and give up.
Leave room to fail. Okay, so, you probably skipped step one didn’t you? Well, now we’re braced for failure, but you don’t have to let this ruin your entire goal. If you stop now, then you’ve really failed. There are a lot of bumps in the road and false starts to any big goal, just keep with it, continue to get back up and dust yourself off and start again.
Tell people about your goals. This will make it harder to weasel out of them, or justify not going to the gym or whatever the goal is, if you tell other people about what you’re doing, you’ll be too worried about disappointing them to blow off your duties.
If all else fails, ask for help! You have people in your life who care about you, and want you to succeed. Ask someone to help you in your efforts and you’ll be surprised by how a little encouragement or company will help you thrive.
