Ten common dreams, and their meanings

By: Elly

We perused the internet and our own ever expanding dream dictionary, to find some common dreams. Here below are 10 of the most common dreams we have while deep asleep. How many have you had?

1. Nudity – Being naked is an obvious symbol of being exposed or being vulnerable in public. If you see someone else naked in your dream, it means that you’ve discovered the “naked truth” about someone or something.

2. Falling – Falling, or flying, has to do with freedom and weightlessness. If you are falling in your dreams and you are unafraid, then it means you’re going to overcome the troubles in your life with ease. If you are afraid, then it means you are feeling overwhelmed.

3. Dying – Death, like in the Tarot, does not mean the end of all things. Instead, it means rebirth, the end of one thing and the beginning of another. The death of a loved one in your dreams is symbolic of remembrance and guilt; the death of yourself lends the idea that you’re trying to become a new person.

4. Accident – If you dream you’re in an accident, chances are good that you’re feeling pent-up guilt over something that you’re unconsciously punishing yourself for. Did you cause the accident? Did someone hit you? It might mean that you’re “driving yourself” too hard, or that you’re afraid someone is trying to sabotage you.

5. Chase – Being chased is mostly an indication of worry. You may be trying to get away from something you feel is insurmountable. Being chased is also sign of some kind of insecurity or fear. It’s a signal from your subconscious to live up to your responsibilities.

6. Running – Running denotes avoidance. If you’re running in your dreams, you might be trying to flee an issue that you are having trouble with confronting.

7. Sex – Sex usually symbolizes completion on both a physical and spiritual level. It’s a feeling of wholeness. If it’s sex in public, it might mean that you’re not afraid to show who you are, all of you, and all that you can be.
Snow – Snow is symbolic of innocence and emotions as well. Seeing snow falling represents a new start and a clean slate. Seeing snow melting means that you’re letting go of your emotions and fears.

8. Test – For anyone, tests are nightmares. If you find yourself taking a test in your dream, you’re probably feeling pressured or scrutinized. Failing or passing the test is also symbolic to how you feel you’re measuring up to those around you.

9. Trips – Dreaming that you’re going on a trip or vacation is symbolic of your need to get away and have some fun. You probably feel stressed and know that you need to let go of your worries.

10. Losing Someone – These dreams generally denote that you’ve lost an opportunity or a relationship. If you lose someone in a crowd of people, then you might not be understanding them.

As you can see, a lot of things are not as scary as they might seem. Keep track of your dreams, and find out if you have reoccurring situations, or call one of our readers today to have a personalized interpretation!

Animal Messages.

By: Alex
About three weeks ago, I had an interesting experience while I was working as a security guard. I was at a car dealership in a remote location. The place is mostly surrounded by open fields, although it is close to a major highway. I had noticed some animals around while making my rounds. I have seen several cats, a skunk, a couple of toads, some rather loud birds, a raccoon, a hawk, an owl, and I have heard coyotes although I have never seen them.

During this particular time period, I noticed that there were several praying mantis’ around. This seemed quite unusual to me. I had not seen any of them up until then. I happened to notice because as I drove around I saw them on the pavement in the parking lot. In fact, one night, I saw seven or eight of them. I began to think that something was up.

It seemed like they were trying to get my attention. One time, while I was checking cars, there was one just above the door handle. Another time, as I opened the gate, there was one on the gate. Then when I went to open the gate the next time there was one on the wall right above the gate latch. Many times they would just sort of show up in unexpected places, but mostly in front of my car. I had to drive carefully to avoid them.

To top it all off, one got into my car and wound up on the dashboard. I had to get out of the car, go around to the other side, and open the door. Then I went back around to the driver’s side and blew on him so he would get out of the car. If that isn’t getting your attention, I don’t know what is.

I talked to Kat, ext 7054, one of Foretell’s psychics, about all the praying mantis’ that I had seen. She said they have a message for me that had to do with inner strength. Then she asked me if I was talking to them. I said no, but I figured why not. I started talking to the praying mantis’ but I felt awkward and I didn’t really know what to say to them. (What do you say to a praying mantis? Sounds almost like a Japanese Zen Koan.)

So, I just tried to be polite. I just said hello, how are you and are you having good hunting. I didn’t like disturbing them, I figured they were hunting bugs and I didn’t really want to bother them. I also didn’t want to make them nervous.

A few days later, I saw a friend of mine who works in a pharmacy. For some reason I mentioned seeing all the praying mantis and how they were trying to tell me something. She said that the praying mantis was one of her favorite creatures. Interesting. I wondered if maybe she was thinking about me.

Later on I found out from one of Foretell’s psychics that I had been a high priest in ancient Egypt in a previous life, and that this woman had been my daughter. We apparently had a very strong connection and I taught her everything I knew in that life.

Interestingly, after I talked to this woman, I didn’t see as many of the praying mantis’ anymore. In fact they have pretty much disappeared. I think that is probably due in part to the fact that the summer is over and their life cycle is probably at an end, but it does seem like an interesting coincidence.

Verna’s Answer.

October 10, 2011, 4:00 AM

By: Alex

I asked my subconscious mind to show me some other ways of dealing with money the other day, right before I went to sleep. (Little did I know what that would result in.) Then I had a dream. I was in a bar that had a lot of people in it. It wasn’t packed, but all of the bar stools were taken and all the tables were full.

The people were nice. The bar was off to my left. There were people at the back of the room also and I think in front of where I was standing. A thin, younger man (20′s or 30′s) came up to me and gave me about $7.00 in cash. I could see the bills clearly, because they were fanned out. He said it was time to buy the next round, and by the way, he pushed the money at me I could tell it was my turn to buy.

The crowd of people seemed relatively happy up until this point. They seemed content. They weren’t rowdy or boisterous. Actually, they were rather quiet, and I could feel there was a kind of expectancy in them. They were all looking at me, waiting to see what I was going to do. While I felt relatively calm, part of me was afraid.

Although these people had been tolerant of me up till then, I was afraid that if I didn’t come up with enough money to buy them a round of drinks, things could get ugly. Moreover, that would be bad for me. I said to everyone in the bar: “This is what you’re going to do. You’re going to figure out what you want. Then you’re going to fight about it!” When I said this, it was in a commanding tone.

There was no hesitancy or uncertainty. That was the end of the dream. It became clear to me that all the people in the bar represented all the bills I have to pay that I don’t have the money to pay right now. (I have been waiting for a fairly large check that got sent to the wrong address.) Although I do have these fears, there is another part of me that knows that everything is going to be ok.

I think this is represented by the calm feeling in the dream. (Although everything was fine at that moment, things could change.) After thinking about this for a bit, I realized that the real issue, the core issue that the dream dealt with was my feelings of inadequacy, represented by all these nice people who were expecting me to come up with a large amount of money (right now) that I didn’t have and had no way of coming up with. I have had this feeling for a long time.

I talked to Kat, ext 7054, one of Foretell’s psychics, about this dream. It occurred to me to mention something to her that I had done some months ago and was wondering about. I had done some workshops back around 1994 with a top notch trance channel named Dr. Verna Aridon Yater. Verna was originally from Santa Barbara, but moved to Colorado Springs not long before I met her. She died a year or two ago, but I had felt her presence a few times since then. She was checking up on her students!

A few months ago, I was having trouble with money and asked Verna if she could help me increase my income. I don’t normally ask Verna for things because I know she is busy and I don’t like to bother her. However, I didn’t know whom else to ask for help, and I figured if anyone could help me, it was Verna.

She knew my issues from years of workshops. I had mentioned this to Kat, ext 7054, the psychic. She said that Verna was going to try to show me an alternative. I had not gotten any impressions since then about what Verna was up to, but after I figured out what this dream was about, it became clear to me that this was Verna’s Answer.

In addition to being a top notch trance channel, Verna had helped us not only probe deeply into our past lives, but she also had a knack for helping people unwind the deeper issues in their psyches. She would often tell us to “ask for a dream” about whatever was up for us. As I said to Kat, ext 7054 the other day, I was not planning to “probe the depths of my psyche” when I asked for this dream, but obviously that’s what happened.

What is Color Therapy?

By: Elly

Color therapy, some times also referred to as Chromo therapy or colorology, is a homeopathic practice which uses color or light to balance energy and promote healing either physically, mentally, or spiritually. One of our psychics Shawna (7035) brought the idea of Color Therapy to my attention.

Have you ever noticed that certain colors seem to have an effect on your mood or feelings? I certainly have! You might be wondering; which colors do what? Not everyone responds to colors the same way, or to the same degree. I’ve always noticed, for instance, bright yellows seem to make me feel energized and happy, and blues calm me.

There are different methods and applications for color therapy; one use is to stimulate the chakras. The first chakra all the way at the bottom of your spine is associated with the color red, and helps with survival and grounding. The second is in your stomach; it correlates with the color orange, and pertains to your emotions and sexuality.

The third chakra is at the solar plexus and is yellow, this regards your power and ego. The fourth is your heart. It’s linked with green, love, and responsibility. The fifth, which is in your throat is coupled with blue and is tied to your physical and spiritual communication.

The sixth chakra, represented by indigo or purple is where your third eye is, just above your eyebrows, in the center of your forehead. This chakra is the center for compassion, forgiving, and understanding. The last chakra, the seventh is at the crown of your head and is indicated by the color violet. This chakra connects you to universal energies and helps with the transmission of ideas and information.

So part of the theory of color therapy is that by being exposed to the various colors of your chakras, or other colors derived from them, situations can be improved in those specific areas. It’s also said that certain colors can help things like dyslexia. A lot of it is just theoretical, but exposing your self to color and colorful things is wonderful, even if nothing at all is wrong.

If you’re interested there are plenty of books on this topic, and you can always ask Shawna (7035) about it, I am sure she’ll be very excited to tell you more! She is caring, compassionate and understanding, so if there’s anything you’d like to talk about she is a great choice. Shawna does not have a regular schedule with us, so if you’d like to talk to her just give us a call and one of our friendly customer service reps can put you on her call list.

So what is Cartomancy exactly? During my research I’ve found it’s a way to provide a reading with a regular deck of cards. This practice came about sometime after the 14th century soon after ‘playing cards’ were introduced in Europe.

Though reading of cards or objects (runes, Sticks, or other methods) has been something done over centuries Cartomancy has a solid practice other than the tarot. There are even accounts of ancient Egyptians that would create their own ‘decks’ to help with divination.

As I continued my journey into Cartomancy I was able to come across many different types of ways to read cards. With all my questions I gave a quick call to a psychic that has a lot of experience with Cartomancy. I was presented with the Karma system by the psychic Margie (extension 7020).

The Karma system is a simple way to start your practice with a regular deck of paying cards. Step 1, getting a deck of playing cards. Now the unwritten law about this is they have to be a gift given to you. Have a friend or a family member buy you a pack of regular playing cards.

You can make your own cards but getting them as a gift seems to be easier. Once you’ve gotten the cards be sure to remove the cards 2’s – 6’s in each suit (Hearts, Clubs, Spades, and Diamonds). You should only have the Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks, 10, 9, 8, and 7’s in each suit.

Step 2, you have to give your energy to the remainder of the cards by shuffling them a lot. Margie says that you would also have to wrap the cards in something soft like nylon or silk and sleep with them under you pillow for about a week. The Karma System suggested to me by Margie is an interesting structure based on the 7 card and piles of 4.

A bit complicated and awkward for me since I’m more used to the Celtic cross Tarot lay out. Practice seems to be the first thing that I can think of when involved with card reading. This usually isn’t something you can have down in a matter of a couple of days. There is an art involved and of course how you interpret the cards is very important.

So as the weeks progressed I’ve found through a lot of practice and paying attention to what my cards tell me the art of divination by the Karma System has been getting to be a bit easier to read. Any system you use will and could alter by the time you’ve reached a level your own personal spiritual growth will take you.

Margie says that the system she uses now is nothing like the one she had originally been taught but is now something more personal. Like a thumb print our spiritual sides is in some way a mirror to our own individuality and the cards used will show this spiritual individuality.

You see I’ve been told that reading of cards is all based on how you or your reader is connected to them. How well they’ve been able to psychically connect and how well they are able to translate the message being given through the cards.

Not everything you read or have been told can be 100%. Life just doesn’t give that type of guarantee even though some of us really would like that. According to sources everyone has the ability and opportunity to change what is foretold. Destiny is something only an individual can undertake willingly or not. Hence free will.

Venus and the Houses

Ah, yes Venus also known as the goddess of love and beauty in Roman mythology. The planet Venus is also associated with Freyja in Norse Paganism. A fun fact about Venus is that in most Latin based languages such as French, Romanian, or Italian the word Friday will have the first three letters or pronunciation of Venus. (Example: the word Friday in Italian is Venerdi). In Chinese astrology Venus is associated with the element metal or gold.

So what does it mean when someone says something about how a person’s Venus is in the first house? Houses in Astrology are used to divide the horoscopes into 12 sections biased on the positions at the time of birth and your location of birth. It gives you a better insight to your sign and a better understanding of how your sign interacts within its astro life path

Venus in the First House
The first house is the House of Self in modern astrology, and having Venus in the first house gives you the advantage of being very warm and easy to befriend. Negative associations are passive-aggressive behavior that can be misconstrued as being ‘two-faced’, superficial charm and a need to be liked by others.

The first house is all about how you come across to others. With Venus in your first house you’ll show more characteristics of a mixture of the planets signs (Taurus and in older astrology Libra). You’ll find that people will see you’re more capable of balancing things within your life such as your social environment and being active in all areas of your relationships.

Venus in the Second House

The second house is the House of Value in modern astrology and having Venus in the second house gives you the advantage of being able to find quality talent, long lasting relationships, and wonderfully keen taste for whats going to be hot in the market. The second house is closely associated with the star sign Taurus and in older astrology Libra. Taurus in modern astrology is ruled by the planet Venus.

It has been said that when people have Venus in the second house they can have a tendency or characteristic in there personality of giving gifts to others with the expectation of something in return. Other sources say that Venus in the second house could mean they have a strong desire to gain wealth to feel socially acceptable or to obtain a status desired. The second house is all about how you spend your time and money, Venus is all about obtaining the best and having strong values. Be mindful of your financial surroundings and try not to expect too much back from others.

Venus in the Third House
The Third house is the House of Communication in modern astrology it is associated with the sign of Gemini. With Venus in the third house most people have interests in literature and poetry and the keen knack of being a rather harmonious diplomat in both speech and writing skills. You will have collected a lot of your friends and social contacts through your own neighborhood or through your intellectual pursuits.

Most notable positives are being able to restore peace even if it’s temporary, settling arguments and are usually likeable right away. Notable negatives are the tendency of being seen as ingenuine in compliments, engaging in a lot of mind games with others, and sometimes others might come to the conclusion that people with Venus in the third house have a way of twisting words around so that they don’t have to mean what they say or visa versa.

Venus in the Fourth House
The Fourth House is the House of Home and Family which is associated with the sign of Cancer. Most people with this astro placement seek to make things beautiful and harmonious in their domestic lives (i.e family, close friends, and romantic relationships).

Positive aspects of Venus in the fourth house are great eyes for interior designs, leaving loving and personal touches of your personality, making long and lasting impressions, are sentimental and can be very affectionate by nurturing. Negative aspects can include being too dependent on your spouse, being overly indulgent or overprotective of their children, and it’s been said that most people with Venus in the Fourth house will mirror their parents style when it comes to romantic relationships.

Fairies

February 24, 2011, 10:47 PM

1251929_zooming_textureBy: Alex
Fairies are mythological creatures to most people, but I (and many other people) believe they do exist. We are not aware of them in our modern world, but this is because they have gone into the earth.

They were active up until about the 1800′s or so, and went into the earth because most of the people who were familiar to them were persecuted and killed for being witches or being friendly to them. So most of the people who believed in them were no longer living.

I believe that the fairies will make a comeback on the earth, though probably not for a while. It will be after the Earth has more or less finished the so-called “Earth Changes.” Then the fairies will be needed to help the Earth regenerate and to re-establish plant life and to help us humans heal.

I knew one woman a few years back that I thought was friendly to the fairies – you could feel it in her house and her back yard. She herself was friendly and had a good sense of humor, and had statues of elves in her front yard. She seemed somewhat impish at times and had a rather infectious giggle that just came out of nowhere from time to time.

Nevertheless, I consider her a rarity in this day, and age. For the most part, people seem to think that if you can’t see it, it doesn’t exist. I can’t imagine that fairies would really like a lot of the energy from our modern electronic devices such as TV’s, stereos, cars, cell phone, the internet and so on.

So they might not be “Facebook Friendly.” (Although who knows, I could be completely wrong about that.) I am thinking of calling on the Fairies to help me in some situations in my life.

I was told by Kat (ext 7054), that you have to ask them for help – they will not just help you out of the blue. In addition, if you call on the fairies, you have to give them something in exchange.

She said to put out some food – something from the earth, something liquid and something else, maybe something sweet. She said if you do this you will see the food change over a period of a few days.

If you call on the fairies, you should be relatively specific in what you ask from them. I am thinking of asking them if they could help my houseplants grow more healthy, if they could help the grass grow in my yard, and if they would consider hanging out in my place (because I think they are kind of fun to have around).

And of course there are other things I want them to help me with, such as
finances and just plain having enough time to do the things I want. Kat said that if I called on the fairies that I would be pleasantly surprised by the results. Well, that’s fine with me.

Angelic Guidance

January 20, 2011, 12:00 AM

729014_an_angel_in_cityBy: Alex

I asked Cat, one of Foretel’s psychics, if she could answer some questions I had about angels. I asked her if there were times in my life when angels were guiding me, and if she could tell me something about the angels who were my guides.

She said there were roughly 5 periods when I was guided:
1. New York City, from when I was born to about 1967
2. When I joined the Army in 1986
3. When I went to Germany (1986 to 1989)
4. Moving to Colorado (1993 to 1995)
5. When I went to Seattle (1995)

This is all very interesting to me. I won’t say that I had no idea that I had been guided, but I didn’t know it was this extensive. I felt, intuitively that I had been guided somehow to move out here to Colorado in 1993, but that was about it.

The chain of events and circumstances, the people I met just seemed to all point in this direction when I looked back on it. Moreover, honestly, joining the Army in 1986, that was a bit of a risk also; but at the time, I felt that I was going to be ok. I managed to get out of the Army just 10 days before the first Gulf War started, and that also seemed miraculous.

I was unaware of being guided at these other times. From my reading with Cat, it seems that at each of these times I was supposed to learn something. She didn’t specifically say that in each case, I was supposed to learn something, but it does seem clear that I was to do these things for a reason, and the “reason” (spiritually) was not the same as the “reason” that we think of when we decide to do things.

The first period of “angelic guidance” if you will, is right after I was born, from 1959 until I was about 6, in New York City. Cat said I was supposed to learn something there about being safe.

New York was a scary place for me back then. I used to think there were monsters in the closets and under the bed. I also had some trouble at school, getting into fights with other kids. Nevertheless, I came through it all ok.

According to Cat, I was guided to join the Army in 1986. I was not aware of this, but looking back, it does seem strange. At the time I had the feeling I was going to be ok. The “reason” for me joining the military was that I had had many past lives in the military. I was also guided to go to Germany. (That was one of the reasons I joined the Army.)

Cat said the “reason” I needed to go to Germany was that I also had had many past lives there. I know when I came back from Germany in 1989 I didn’t want to come home. I even went through a period recently where I missed Germany a lot. I was listening to German shortwave stations and reading German news on the Internet, and watched Deutsche Welle (news) on TV. When I got out of the Army, in 1991, I was pretty much done with it.

I had a couple of bad experiences and just wanted to get out. It turns out that I was done with the military for good. I went back to Rhode Island for a couple of years. I had suspected that I was guided to come out here to Colorado back in 1993 or so. Cat said that was true, that this was the best place for me to manifest my dreams. At the time, (spring of ’93) I remember sitting around in my living room one day and asking, “Why am I here?”

Although I had spent my whole life on the East Coast, I suddenly realized there was nothing keeping me there. I was starting to learn about metaphysics, doing many affirmations, learning about other healing modalities such as crystals, herbs, reflexology, and acupressure and so on.

I went to a metaphysical book store and was looking at a book on past lives. I saw a map of the Earth changes and my eyes just kept going to Colorado Springs, CO. At the end of the book, it mentioned a woman named Dr. Verna Aridon Yater. Dr. Yater lived in Colorado Springs and was holding workshops, so I signed up for 2 ten day workshops. After I got out here to Colorado I decided to stay here and with a few exceptions, I have been here ever since.

The whole story of my experiences out here in Colorado and with Dr. Yater is really more like a saga, so I will leave that out for now. Suffice to say that it has changed my life.

The next period, according to Cat, where I had been guided by an angel was when I went to Seattle, in 1995. In Seattle, I was supposed to learn something about consequences (karma), and about Buddhism.

I had fallen in love with a woman, and moved to Seattle to be with her. However, this was all short-lived and everything seemed to go south for me once I got out there. It turned out that I had known her in a previous life and that the whole thing was a karmic payback. It was very difficult for me to accept and took a few years before I understood it all.

Cat said if I hadn’t done that (accepted the karma from a previous life) I would have had to come back in a future life. I was becoming interested in Buddhism about the time I went to Seattle.

I don’t know why. I met someone there who was a Buddhist. In typical American fashion he painted a Buddha on the hood of his car. Oh, now I get it: Buddha-hood. Very funny. Big joke. That one only took me 15 years to get!

After I moved back to Colorado, I went to a Buddhist teaching in Colorado Springs, where I met Geshe Gyeltsen. He was a Gelug Buddhist monk who spent many years studying Buddhism at a large monastery in Tibet before he had to leave because of the Chinese invasion of Tibet.

He had founded a center in Long Beach, CA (Thubten Dhargye Ling) and one in Colorado Springs (Thubten Shadrub Ling). I spent 15 months in Colorado Springs learning Buddhism from Gyeshe Gyeltsen, and then went to Boulder, CO and studied Buddhism there with disciples of Trungpa Rinpoche, who founded
Naropa and was from the Kagyu Tibetan Buddhist school.

What surprised me about my involvement with Buddhism was that Cat said that I was initially guided to it by an angel. She said that angels are not discriminating about particular religions. It sounds like they guide people towards the things that are best for them to learn and experience. I like that.

I guess I always associated “angels” with Christian religions. Not so! Later on in the reading, I asked Cat if she could tell me anything about the angels who were
guiding me, if that was allowed. There was a pause. The answer surprised me.
She said that my father was one of my angels, and that he was helping me and protecting me.

She said he would be an angel for about 100 years. After that he would come back in and be human again. Apparently he has to win the respect of a certain group of humans, and this is some kind of penance for something he did.
I had an interesting experience a few years ago.

It was just after my birthday in July of 1998. I had just gotten a new job working at a company that tracked railroad cars for large companies. I was watching a John Wayne movie and I thought “This feels familiar.” Then I realized that my father was with me. (He had died in 1988.) I also realized that he had “pulled some strings” to get me that job.

I didn’t know he was an angel at that time but I was sure glad he was around to help me. I think that’s the only time I was aware of his presence after his death.

Cat also said one of the angels around me sometimes was named Michael. When she said this I got an image of Michael, my Reiki master from Australia. I had not seen him since about 1995, and always wondered what had happened to him.

I asked her “why is he helping me?” and she said he had taken a shine to me.
This reading has altered my thinking about our life’s destiny and how we are guided through difficult times. It has also changed some of my ideas about angels. I didn’t know they were “nondenominational” if you will, or that humans could become angels.

More On Past Lives

When the subject of past lives comes up, many people just shrug it off. They think it is some esoteric concept, along with karma, just part of some people’s belief system. Worse yet, they reject it completely because it doesn’t fit into their religious beliefs.

Nevertheless, in a strange way, if you think about it logically, karma, the law of cause and effect, makes sense. We have so many experiences in just one lifetime. Look at all the connections each of us has – to our parents, our siblings, the people we work with, the people we went to school with, the people we grew up with. Could that all be by chance? Hardly. The universe is a lot more connected than we think it is.

It makes sense that if we have had a traumatic event in one lifetime, especially if it was at the time of death, that we would have made some kind of decision or judgment about it and carried it forward into all of our subsequent lifetimes.
Just as in physics, the law of “equal and opposite actions”, the law of karma makes sense.

Good begets good and evil attracts itself in the same way. We keep repeating the patterns we have generated until, like knots in a piece of rope, we begin to release and untie them. We keep coming back time and time again until we have released and forgiven ourselves and others and have learned all that we need to learn. Then we get to teach that to others.

I don’t wish to offend anyone here but I believe that Jesus Christ knew about past lives, karma, cause, effect, and that he may actually have taught these things. For example, he said “new skins for new wine.” What do you think that was about? I think he meant that you have to change the inside first, and then the outside has to change.

So many people don’t understand this. They want things to be a certain way in their lives, but they don’t understand that they have to do the inner work first, and then their life will take on a new form.

A good question to ask would be “What kind of person would I have to become in order to have (state the condition you desire) in my life?” I believe a very unfortunate incident happened a long time ago. I checked this out with one of
Foretell’s psychics. I think Jesus’ teachings on karma were originally in the Bible, but they were removed some time after he was crucified.

I was told that yes, there was a wife of a Roman emperor named Josephine who had these teachings removed from the Bible because she couldn’t handle the thought of what that meant. She must have had a lot of karma that she didn’t want to deal with.

The end result – well, look at our world. I think a lot of what is going on in our world is the “snowballing” of hundreds and thousands and millions of years of karma. If people had known the truth about karma, instead of having had it swept under the rug, maybe things would have been different. However, we have so many huge problems now, and they seem to have so much momentum behind
Them, it seems it would take a huge miracle to change the course of history.

A few years ago, I began to wonder about freedom. In our country, the United States of America, we take it for granted that we are “free.” But is that really the case? How free are we? If you begin to seriously look at this, you will find the answer quite disconcerting, and it has to do with karma.

If we are in fact, more or less “driven” by our karma then how could we possibly be free? It is quite tragic that our country in particular and the world in general has turned out the way it has. There is a lot of concern about the problems in the world today – global warming, economic meltdowns, frauds, and scandals and who knows what else is lurking behind the scenes.

Most people understandably feel quite helpless in the face of all this. Rather than focus on the outside world, it is better to work on one self. When we change, the world has to change also.

The Nine Year Cycle

Sunset 01I wanted to write about our personal years which all of our lives operate on and is a nine-year cycle, which keeps repeating itself. Each of these nine years has its own vibration, which cannot be avoided. Each year has its own opportunities, influences, and obstacles. By our knowing what to expect in advance, we can prepare ourselves to take advantage of the opportunities and avoid the pitfalls.

Contact Remme, EXT. 7010, for your personal year, which has been pre-destined by your birthday.

The nine-year cycle is very much like the different stages in a harvest season. One prepares for the next. To have a good harvest, no step can be neglected or left out.

Year One: Planting the Seeds

This is the year for new beginnings and sets the tone for the whole nine-year cycle. It is the time for taking the lead and showing inner strength and courage. Success and happiness come from being independent, creative, and positive; follow your intuitions and instincts. The pitfall to avoid is lack of initiative, which may result in failure and will continue through the whole cycle.

Year Two: The Seeds Are Taking Root

This is the year to be patient, receptive to the ideas of others, and to remain in the background. The pitfalls to avoid are being overly sensitive, argumentative, or pushy.

Year Three: The Seeds Start to Sprout

This is a social and healthy year but can bring emotional stress. It’s time for entertaining, traveling, promoting yourself and cultivating friends. The pitfall to avoid is extravagance, which can lead to financial difficulties in the year. Do not waste energy by scattering your energy. Married people who succumb to a triangle love affair are setting the way for a divorce or separation in the fourth year.

Year Four: Hoeing and Digging

This is the year for limitations, hard work, and high expenses. It’s time to build for the future. Success and happiness will come from self-discipline and putting ideas into concrete form. It’s a good time to deal with property and real estate. The pitfall to avoid is your health.

Year Five: Budding Time

This is the year to flow with changing conditions. Learn to let go and live life on a day-to-day basis. It is a fast paced and accident-prone year. Expect reversals, good to bad and bad to good. Pitfalls to avoid are scattering your energies and misusing your own personal freedom at the expense of others.

Year Six: Blossoming Time

This is the year for domestic and marriage responsibilities. Some chronic illnesses may come to the surface this year. It may be a time of travel difficulties, such as car troubles. The pitfalls to avoid are overly idealistic and argumentative emotions, and expecting too much from others.

Year Seven: The Plants Bear Fruit

This is a year for solitude and rest. It’s time to study your inner self. Success and happiness come from studying the deeper meanings of life. Materialistic pursuits should be avoided. Money will come only if sought after. Pitfalls to avoid are neglecting health and forcing issues.

Year Eight: Harvest Time

This is a dynamic and materialistic year; business will prosper. There can be great gain or great loss depending on how all the other cycles were handled. It’s an excellent time for buying or selling real estate. Money may start to come from unexpected sources. Pitfalls to avoid are those of being sentimental or emotional.

Year Nine: Cleaning Up After the Harvest and Getting Ready for the New Planting Year

This is a cleansing year between the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next one. It’s time to get rid of anything that is unwanted or outworn, especially people that you have outgrown. There will be some loss because a relationship may end. Pitfalls to avoid are being jealous or possessive.
