This does not mean that you should be ordering them around just to make sure that they each perform what is expected of them. It is widely known that each and every individual has his or her own strengths and weaknesses and what one person may be good at doing, another person might perform badly. Due to this people have certain areas where they can perform extremely well and it is up to you the leader to identify the various roles that each person within the organization can perform and assign him or her to that task. It is only when people are given tasks or roles that they are good at that they can put in all their best.

 

Get to know of the system: Getting to know of the same requires you the leader to be very conversant with the various activities that goes on within the organization. This is also referred to as being able to identify the process or the product of the organization. Your ability to realize the various processes involved in the smooth running of the organization is also one of the main things that you need to in order to properly organize the affairs of the group you are leading. Leaders with a better understanding of how things work within the organization are those who effectively coordinate the individual aspects of the group towards achieving the set goals. Knowing how every sub group functions is a sure way to properly organizing them in order that each part will put in their best to help realize the vision of the whole group.

 

Be conscious of the values that guide the group or organization: The values of any group or organization are those things which guide whatever activity that they undertake. They are also seen as being the principles by which the organization or the group is ran and they are therefore very essential to any group. As a leader, it is your duty to ensure that the group that you lead are fully aware and committed to the values and principles that guide the performance of every activity within that group. When the values are consciously adhered to by all and sundry then and only then can there be proper organization as each and every individual will always try to keep to the values and principles at work in that organization.

Once inside, I see it is not actually a garden, but a courtyard with trees and plants along the perimeter. On the far side is a bronze image of a woman; people are standing beside her, having their picture taken – not what I am hear for. There on the right is the balcony, not far above ground level. To the left is a gift shop.

I am backing up against the wall, now closing my eyes, using an exercise I learned  - many years ago: I tune out the voices and attempt to feel the energy of where I am. I am in awe of the fundamental emotion that I am feeling. Overwhelming waves of love, interspersed with friendship, compassion, empathy, tenderness, caring, and humility.

 

This is not entirely what I expected, But, on second thought, I guess all of these feelings have something to do with the passion that is love. This is an experience that I will never forget – a treasure trove of emotion that I would save in a bottle for the rest of my life.

This can mirror how one often pulls away from living on their growth-edge because people tend to imagine the worsening of pain, rather than staying in the moment. When present to difficult feelings in any given moment, most often the discovery is that it is fine.

 

In a Yin yoga class, the poses are held for up to 10 minutes (which may feel like forever particularly when the stretch is intense). Students should pay close attention to the panicked instinct to pull back and get out of the pose for relief. When this occurs, rather than getting out of the pose, instead ask to yourself if the instinct is really about too much discomfort in that moment, or if the urge is in response to anticipated pain. Joy is only experienced in the moment and therefore can become greater when we’re present.
